The week
- Before we start — a one-page questionnaire, so day one starts at the real beginning instead of the polite one.
- Day one, on site — a working day with the people who actually run the workflow. We take it apart together: who does what, where the judgment lives, what the tools touch, what's already running in the shadows.
- Three days of synthesis — I write. What AI could credibly do here, what it can't yet, what it never should. Where this workflow heads over the next year or two if you move, and what standing still actually costs.
- The readout, within the week — the decision in writing, the first move named, and a map your team can hold without me in the room.
What you walk away with
- A capability snapshot — what you actually have today: people, process, data, tools, and the AI your team is already using whether anyone approved it or not.
- A can / can't / shouldn't map — for this workflow, the honest version.
- The decision, in writing — build, wait, or stop, with the reasoning attached and at least one thing named to stop.
- The first move — if the answer is build, the single first thing to test: what, not how, handed off ready for whoever builds it. I'm not whoever builds it.
